TiDB Cloud Billing

TiDB Cloud charges according to the resources that you consume. You can visit the following pages to get more information about the pricing.

Invoices

If you are in theOrganization OwnerorOrganization Billing Admin您的组织的作用,你可以manage the invoice information of TiDB Cloud. Otherwise, skip this section.

After you set up the payment method, TiDB Cloud will generate an invoice once your cost reaches a quota, which is $500 by default. If you want to raise the quota or receive one invoice per month, you cancontact our sales.

After you contact our sales for receiving an invoice on a monthly basis, TiDB Cloud will generate the invoice for the previous month at the beginning of each month.

Invoice costs include TiDB cluster usage consumption, discounts, backup storage costs, support service cost, credit consumption, and data transmission costs in your organization.

For each monthly invoice:

  • TiDB云学院提供了你的发票nint。举办h of each month. From the first to the ninth day, you cannot view the last month's cost details, but can obtain the cluster usage information of this month via the billing console.
  • The default method for paying invoices is credit card deduction. If you want to use other payment methods, please send a ticket request to let us know.
  • You can view the summary and details of charges for the current month and the previous month.

To view the list of invoices, perform the following steps:

  1. Click in the lower-left corner of the TiDB Cloud console.

  2. ClickBilling. The invoices page is displayed.

Billing details

If you are in theOrganization OwnerorOrganization Billing Admin您的组织的作用,你可以view and export the billing details of TiDB Cloud. Otherwise, skip this section.

After setting the payment method, TiDB Cloud will generate the invoice and billing details of the historical months, and generate the bill details of the current month at the beginning of each month. The billing details include your organization's TiDB cluster usage consumption, discounts, backup storage costs, data transmission costs, support service cost, credit consumption, and project splitting information.

To view the billing details, perform the following steps:

  1. Clickin the lower-left corner of the TiDB Cloud console.

  2. ClickBilling.

  3. ClickBills. The billing details page is displayed.

The billing details page shows the billing summary by project and by service. You can also see the usage details and download the data in CSV format.

Credits

TiDB Cloud offers a certain number of credits for Proof of Concept (PoC) users. One credit is equivalent to one U.S. dollar. You can use credits to pay TiDB cluster fees before the credits become expired.

To view this page, perform the following steps:

  1. Clickin the lower-left corner of the TiDB Cloud console.

  2. ClickBilling.

Discounts

If you are in theOrganization OwnerorOrganization Billing Admin您的组织的作用,你可以view the discount information of TiDB Cloud on theDiscountspage. Otherwise, skip this section.

The discount information includes all discounts that you have received, the status, the discount percentage, and the discount start and end date.

To view this page, perform the following steps:

  1. Clickin the lower-left corner of the TiDB Cloud console.

  2. ClickBilling.

  3. ClickDiscounts. The discount details page is displayed.

Payment method

If you are in theOrganization OwnerorOrganization Billing Admin您的组织的作用,你可以manage the payment information of TiDB Cloud. Otherwise, skip this section.

Add a credit card

The fee is deducted from a bound credit card according to your cluster usage. To add a valid credit card, you can use either of the following methods:

  • When you are creating a cluster:

    1. Before you clickCreate Clusteron theCreate a Clusterpage, clickAdd Credit Cardat the bottom of theBilling Calculatorpane.
    2. In theAdd a Carddialog box, fill in the card information and billing address.
    3. ClickSave Card.
  • Anytime in the billing console:

    1. Clickin the lower-left corner of the TiDB Cloud console.

    2. ClickBilling.

    3. Under thePayment Methodtab, clickAdd a New Card.

    4. Fill in the billing address and card information, and then clickSave.

You can bind multiple credit cards, and set one of them as the default credit card in the payment method of the billing console. After setting, subsequent billings will be automatically deducted from the default credit card.

To set the default credit card, perform the following steps:

  1. Clickin the lower-left corner of the TiDB Cloud console.

  2. ClickBilling.

  3. Click thePayment Methodtab.

  4. Select a credit card in the credit card list, and clickSet as default.

Edit billing profile information

The billing profile information includes the business legal address and tax registration information. By providing your tax registration number, certain taxes might be exempted from your invoice.

To edit the billing profile information, perform the following steps:

  1. Clickin the lower-left corner of the TiDB Cloud console.

  2. ClickBilling.

  3. Click thePayment Methodtab.

  4. Edit the billing profile information, and then clickSave.

Contract

If you are in theOrganization OwnerorOrganization Billing Admin您的组织的作用,你可以manage your customized TiDB Cloud subscriptions in the TiDB Cloud console to meet compliance requirements. Otherwise, skip this section.

If you have agreed with our sales on a contract and received an email to review and accept the contract online, you can do the following:

  1. Clickin the lower-left corner of the TiDB Cloud console.

  2. ClickBilling.

  3. ClickContract. The contract list is displayed.

  4. ClickDownload,Accept, orRejectaccording to your need.

Billing from AWS Marketplace or Google Cloud Marketplace

If you are in theOrganization OwnerorOrganization Billing Admin您的组织的作用,你可以link your TiDB Cloud account to an AWS billing account or Google Cloud billing account. Otherwise, skip this section.

If you are new to TiDB Cloud and do not have a TiDB Cloud account, you can sign up for a TiDB Cloud account throughAWS MarketplaceorGoogle Cloud Marketplace, and pay for the usage via the AWS or Google Cloud billing account.

  • To sign up through AWS Marketplace, search forTiDB CloudinAWS Marketplace, subscribe to TiDB Cloud, and then follow the onscreen instructions to set up your TiDB Cloud account.
  • To sign up through Google Cloud Marketplace, search forTiDB CloudinGoogle Cloud Marketplace, subscribe to TiDB Cloud, and then follow the onscreen instructions to set up your TiDB Cloud account.

If you already have a TiDB Cloud account and you want to pay for the usage via your AWS or Google Cloud billing account, you can link your TiDB Cloud account to your AWS or Google Cloud billing account.

  • AWS Marketplace
  • Google Cloud Marketplace

To link your TiDB Cloud account to an AWS billing account, take the following steps:

  1. Open theAWS Marketplace page, search forTiDB Cloudand selectTiDB Cloudin the search results. The TiDB Cloud product page is displayed.

  2. On the TiDB Cloud product page, clickContinue to Subscribe. An order page is displayed.

  3. On the order page, clickSubscribe, and then clickSet Up your Account. You are directed to the TiDB Cloud sign-up page.

  4. Check the notification in the upper part of the sign-up page and clickSign in.

  5. Sign in with your TiDB Cloud account. TheLink to Your AWS Billing Accountpage is displayed.

  6. On theLink to Your AWS Billing Accountpage, select your target organization and clickLinkto link to your AWS billing account.

To link your TiDB Cloud account to a Google Cloud billing account, take the following steps:

  1. Open theGoogle Cloud Marketplace page, search forTiDB Cloudand selectTiDB Cloudin the search results. The TiDB Cloud product page is displayed.

  2. On the TiDB Cloud product page, clickSUBSCRIBE. A subscription page is displayed.

  3. On the subscription page, clickSubscribe, and then clickGo to product page. You are directed to the TiDB Cloud sign-up page.

  4. Check the notification in the upper part of the sign-up page and clickSign in.

  5. Sign in with your TiDB Cloud account. The page for linking to your Google Cloud billing account is displayed.

  6. On the page, select the target organization and clickLinkto link to your Google Cloud billing account.
